Uline Inc.’s seemingly endless need for building space in Kenosha County is still not satisfied. The shipping and packaging materials maker now plans to develop another 800,000-square-foot distribution center in Kenosha.
That facility would be built next door to a similarly sized warehouse Uline completed last year west of Interstate 94 near Highway 142. That first building also included about 80,000 square feet of office space.
“We’re excited to see Uline continue to grow in the community,” said Frank Pacetti, Kenosha city administrator.
Uline has grown steadily in Wisconsin since moving its headquarters to Pleasant Prairie from Illinois in 2010. The amount of square-footage it has built and leased has been remarkable, even on the hot Interstate 94 corridor in Kenosha County.
