Uline, North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, has announced the opening in Kenosha County of the largest warehouse in Wisconsin, a facility among the top 20 largest warehouses in the nation.
The new facility, open for shipping this month, spans 1.44 million square feet, expanding Uline’s network of distribution centers across the region.
Located in Kenosha County, the new warehouse expects to employ more than 200 in a range of positions including warehouse associates, management, facilities services, and more.
Uline decided on the addition in 2022 to keep up with increasing customer demand, and to more efficiently deliver to customers across North America.
This state-of-the-art warehouse will feature an on-site fitness center, a cafe, and will stock many of the more than 40,000 products from Uline’s 840+ page catalog.
“This expansion represents a significant milestone for Uline, and for Wisconsin,” says Senior Director of Redistribution, Wade Goff. “This huge new facility represents much more than just the expansion of our physical footprint. It will allow us to deliver products more efficiently than ever before, and it will create hundreds of new job opportunities for the local community.”
The facility boasts over 33 acres of warehouse, all built on 179 acres in Kenosha County.
