Mentor Program

Since 1997, KABA has managed an elementary school mentoring program. Adult mentors are recruited from the business community to mentor 3rd through 5th grade students from the Kenosha County school districts. This is a school-based mentoring program that requires 30-45 minutes per week. The program is designed to provide at-risk students with positive adult role models that spends time with the student on a regular basis.

The mentoring program has had a positive impact, helping build self esteem and self confidence, improving attendance, improving academic performance and building relationships with adults and other students.
