KABA members have access to great information about the Kenosha area business climate and development. Each member receives KABA's quarterly newsletter, Directions, and the KABA Update, a monthly e-newsletter.
Through its Foundation, KABA invests heavily in improving the performance of Kenosha's educational system. Key initiatives include an elementary school mentoring program, a college scholarship program, support for academic initiatives, and a major investment in Lakeview Technology Academy's facility and curriculum.
Training and Professional Development
Access great training opportunities through KABA's extensive catalog of classes and workshops. Core courses include supervisory and human resource management, computer skills, and safety. Additionally, KABA hosts a number of workshops on timely topics and is able to provide customized, onsite training and teambuilding.
KABA hosts noteworthy member events annually on behalf of the business community, including Key Issues Breakfasts on current topics such as health care and education, new member orientations, a scholarship golf outing, an economic forecast breakfast, a business awards dinner, an annual meeting, a holiday social, and more. KABA manages roughly $28 million in revolving loan funds and is able to provide low-interest financing to businesses looking to expand and grow. KABA can also provide relocation, site selection, and technical assistance to area businesses.
