The Kenosha Area is a dynamic community with a thriving art scene and many unique cultural offerings. There is theatre, museums, music, galleries and more without the hassles of the big city.

Kenosha has four public museums. Hop on the trolley that loops the lakefront/downtown area and make stops at the Kenosha Public, Civil War, Southport Lighthouse and Dinosaur Discovery Museums.

The Rhode Opera House, art galleries, and indoor and outdoor music venues dot downtown Kenosha and Kenosha County as well. Both UW-Parkside and Carthage College have a full line-up of theatrical, musical and artistic offerings.

What’s doubly great is that if you’re looking for more, Chicago and Milwaukee are just a short train ride or drive away!
